Near or Far

Jeremiah 33:1-3 While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the LORD came to him a second time: 2"This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: 3'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.(NIV)

So much I would love to say about this: I am so thankful that our God our creator gives us wisdom, knowledge, peace and so much more and yet I can't say it better than the Word. Here is some scripture that spoke to me today:

Hebrews 11:6(NIV)And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Psalm 119:2Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.

James 1:5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

Acts:24-29
24-29"The God who made the world and everything in it, this Master of sky and land, doesn't live in custom-made shrines or need the human race to run errands for him, as if he couldn't take care of himself. He makes the creatures; the creatures don't make him. Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn't play hide-and-seek with us. He's not remote; he's near. We live and move in him, can't get away from him! One of your poets said it well: 'We're the God-created.' Well, if we are the God-created, it doesn't make a lot of sense to think we could hire a sculptor to chisel a god out of stone for us, does it?

Our God our creator is more than enough, and more than capable of providing for what we need.
Hope you have time in His Word today it really has a way of putting it all in perspective. Jaime
